Hi everybody!

First of all, the support keeps pouring in and I am continually reminded of just how amazing it feels to be so cared for by you all. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the good wishes and the positive reaction to the Android Faithful announcement this week!

Alright, onward! I want to have some hang time with you! Cause why not? As I grapple with learning a lot of new technologies to prepare for my next, I want to set up a time to open a live video feed with chat and hang with ya’ll for an hour. Think of it as an AMAA (Ask Me Almost Anything) and an opportunity to catch up on the current state of affairs. I can share some ideas I’m exploring. We can share what we had for breakfast. I don’t know! It’s all fair game in my opinion.

While you are there, you might as well click that Subscribe button on the YouTube page so you get notified when I do these sorts of live get-togethers in the future. Plus, who knows what else I’ll be using that YouTube account for in the coming months. I HAVE IDEAS. We can discuss!

As for the Monday event, I’ll test Streamyard for the video streaming and chat and hopefully use a new camera I picked up for production duties. (Lumia GH5… I am very rusty on camera tech so I’m not guaranteeing anything here yet, but I’ll try if you promise not to make fun of me!) If not that camera, then I’ll just use my trusty Logitech C920 camera. I’ll be streaming live to YouTube only for now. I know it’s possible to stream to both YouTube and Twitch via Streamyard simultaneously. However, I do want to check out the free version of Streamyard before pulling the trigger on the paid version and it only supports streaming to one destination. So YouTube it is! Just be patient with me as I grok the system cause I’m learning a lot very suddenly!

In unrelated news, I cut my thumb last night doing the dishes and it is making typing very difficult. How’s that for oversharing?
