I swear the clock is running twice as fast these days. I continue to find myself slammed beyond capacity but its better than the alternative! So how about a quick roundup of things I’ve been up to!
Yann LeCun interview on AI Inside
Yes if you’ve been following me on any of the socials this past week then perhaps you might be a little sick of hearing me talk about this interview. It was… PHENOMENAL. And peeling back the curtain for a second, I recognize moments like these (where one of my shows gains access to someone of a higher caliber than I’m used to) as moments of growth that can quickly become a lost opportunity if left unseized.
So I’ve been doing my very best to promote the heck out of the Yann episode of AI Inside. And I plan to continue doing it because its working. The video version on YouTube is without a doubt the highest played episode of the podcast to date, but it has the potential for SO MUCH MORE. The channel has seen a big influx of subscribers. All things looking very good for AI Inside post-Yann. And I have a few words out on more big name interviews. So cross your fingers. I hope to make this a thing!

Buzz Out Loud 20 year reunion episode
So I feel a bit embarrassed that I failed to even mention this in my last update where it really should have been placed. But as you know, there was so much stuff crammed into that update that it would have gotten lost in the mix. So maybe its for the best!
I joined Tom Merritt, Molly Wood, Nate Lanxon, Richard Gunther and special appearances by Scott Johnson and Veronica Belmont. Also, the curators of the amazing BuzzTown Archives (where, by the way EVERY SINGLE EPISODE of Buzz Out Loud is available for download!) including Kim White and Anthony Lemos.
Buzz Out Loud will always hold an irreplaceable spot in my heart for being the show that sparked my love of the art of podcasting, the show that gave me a seat at the table (first behind the scenes and eventually in front of the mic and camera), and the show that demonstrated the beauty and power of an engaged community.
I love this damn legacy. This episode was a long time coming. (20 years in fact!) And that Buzz Out Loud remix song that bookends the episode? That’s me ;)
