Anthropic's New Defense Against AI Jailbreaks
Anthropic has developed a promising new defense system targeting jailbreak attacks on Large Language Models. Yann LeCun's Vision for AI's Next Leap
Meta's AI pioneer Yann LeCun, recently honored with the Queen Elizabeth prize for engineering alongside six other engineers, has shared his perspective on AI's future trajectory. LeCun points out that current systems remain significantly limited, particularly in areas involving physical world interaction like domestic robotics and fully automated vehicles.
Setting realistic expectations, LeCun emphasizes that the goal isn't yet to match human-level intelligence: "We're not talking about matching the level of humans yet. If we get a system that is as smart as a cat or a rat, that would be a victory".
